Written in Minnesota beneath an ash tree in 2005 after being gifted a mandolin by Jeffry Nordin. This recording was meant simply to be a demo for other musicians to learn their parts from. Liking the raw quality of the recording though, J decided to put it on the album. He overdubbed his voice to create the affect of guiding musicians through an early run-through of the song.
