Written in 2001 while living in Japan and experimenting with the CGCGCE tuning. Don't expect to hear any hints of Japanese-inspired sounds coming through the track beyond the unique solitude of the rural coastal town where J was living. (If you want to hear a little Japanese flavoring, listening to "The Gala" from "The Hunt" in which J plays the Japanese shamisen.)
There is another, darker twin-of-a-composition (Gemini: 2nd Born) that also came from that time and that alternate guitar tuning – perhaps on some future album that song will be presented.
